Never ask for permission to do the right thing

Humans have only limited amount of decisions they can make it a day. Speak and ask questions such that the 2nd person can make less desisions to answer.

For example, asking for permission. Do not ask for permission. Decide if you want to do it, if so ask how.

I’ve been thinking about the life of humans in relation to the programs we write. Here are some examples,

Scenario 1

We assume that there is a law that allows murder if and only if you will make one offspring and raise it until it reaches the age of the murder victim.

Scenario 2

Let us assume that a person is on his/her deathbed, and you were given a knife. You are allowed to end the person’s suffering a day before the natural death. Will you do it? What if it was an hour before, a second before or a millisecond before. Will you still do it?

Things are created to create things. Those things that are created for the process of creation, is the one that lasts forever and have more value.

Take cars for example. It is used to move things and people from one point to another, maybe construct a building, carry a bag, etcetra. The tasks remain the same, but the creation of car helps us do this faster. Cars also lasts forever.
