Thoughts on Cristiano Ronaldo

All I ever wanted was to see Ronald win the World Cup but that did not happen today. Portugal got eliminated in the quarter finals by Morocco.

Why am I a fan of ronado?

Well as a kid when I started playing football I wanted to watch others play and learn from them like everyone else. I was also playing fifa 2002 and fifa 99 I think. At that time I did not know anything about that. After I got a good pc I installed fifa 2007 and I was a Manchester United fan based on the previous games because they used to have a better rating and good stat players.

I picked the same team for my first play through. Something interesting happened there was a guy who ran really fast. I mean faster than anyone in the whole game. I will pass the ball to him and make him run fast in the wing and do a cross and score a goal. Not to mention that he can also dribble, shoot and do tricks well. He was none other than Christiano Ronaldo.

Then I finally started watching football seriously and followed Man U mainly. Some of my favourite players at the time was Christiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, carrick, Ryan gigs, David Beckham, etc.

I used to try his tricks at my school practice and it was fun although i sucked at it badly.

I was never a fan of messi. CR7 is still the goat. Because his play style is so much fun to watch. He can do a header, do acrobatic finishes, dribble in style, do some tricks, etcetera.

He has been an inspiration to me all these years and after watching some of his documentaries I truly believe that he is the goat. Even though he might not be as good as messi on paper, he still has the better heart. That is what is important.
